This case report illustrates a young lady who presented with features of a manic symptoms with psychosis following self-prescribed dexamethasone for the purpose of weight gain. Remarkably, she lost 21 kg within 4 weeks of treatment. The manic features with psychosis observed in this patient were successfully managed with risperidone and carbamazepine.
